The unit is designed for washing and sterilizing empty cylindrical tin cans with an outer diameter from 50 to 110 mm and a height from 20 to 100 mm.
Structurally, the unit is made in the form of a tunnel, inside which an inclined chute and pipelines with nozzles for supplying hot water and steam are installed.
The width of the chute along which the cans move, as well as the width of the receiving and discharge trays, can be adjusted within the range from 20 to 100 mm.
For removal of used water and steam, a collection tank with a drain valve and a 100 mm diameter ventilation outlet are provided respectively.
A protective screen is installed to prevent operators from coming into contact with heated parts of the unit.
The equipment is made of food-grade stainless steel. Steam supply is required for operation (from a boiler house or steam generator).
