The unit is designed for milk filtration at dairy processing enterprises and commercial dairy farms.
The filter consists of a housing and a filter cartridge mounted on a flange. The filtration fineness is determined by the 200 μm mesh size, while the flow capacity (3, 6, 10, 15, or 25 thousand L/h) depends on the mesh area of the cartridge.
The filter is installed directly into the milk pipeline. During CIP cleaning, it is cleaned by counterflow of washing and disinfecting liquid.
For mechanical cleaning, the filter must be disconnected from the pipeline, the cartridge removed from the housing, the contaminants accumulated on the mesh must be cleaned off with special brushes, and then both the cartridge and the housing must be washed and disinfected.
The unit is made of food-grade stainless steel.
