“Suluguni” Cheese Forming Module for the Forming Machine

The Suluguni cheese forming module is a piston-type doser with a pneumatic drive. The unit makes it possible to produce cylindrical cheese portions (disc-shaped) weighing from 100 to 1500 g.

Operating principle:
the Suluguni forming doser is connected to the twin-screw machine for feeding cheese mass into the dosing unit with melting and kneading functions. The cheese dough inside the twin-screw machine is fed through an adapter into the cylinder.

As the cylinder is filled, the rod with the piston inside rises to the preset level, which is adjusted by a set of washers. Once the cylinder is filled to the specified level, the cheese mass is cut off by knives located between the plates.
