The breading machine is designed for coating semi-finished products made from meat, fish, vegetables, and poultry with breading mixture. It is used in the production of breaded patties, meatballs, nuggets, fillets, chicken wings, drumsticks, shrimp, as well as fast-food products in batter and breading.
To move the semi-finished products through the liaison bath and the breading mix box, conveyor meshes made of food-grade stainless steel are used. Thanks to the smooth transition between the moving meshes, the product coated with liaison is gently transferred onto the breading mesh, which helps preserve its original shape.
The bath for immersing the product in liaison is positioned before the breading mixture box along the direction of movement. The semi-finished product placed on the liaison conveyor (or coming from the cutlet-forming machine conveyor) is fully immersed in the liaison. After leaving the liaison, the product moves along the mesh, where excess moisture is removed, and then reaches the conveyor of the breading application unit.
Above the conveyor mesh, a special accumulator is installed to form a roll of dry breading mixture. As the product passes through this roll, it is evenly coated with breading on all sides.
At the outlet, the breaded product is either removed manually or transferred to a conveyor for removing excess breading mixture (models IPKS-130TR(N), IPKS-130-1000TR(N)).
